What materials can I use them in? TOGGLER® brand SNAPTOGGLE® bolts can be used in almost any hollow material, including: Hollow Block Cinder Block Concrete Block Cement Board Gypsum Board Drywall Hollow Brick Plaster Paneling Fiberglass Boat Decks Composite Panels 5. How quickly and easily can I install them? A) Drill 1/2" (13mm) hole. Hold metal channel flat alongside plastic strap. Slide channel through hole. B) Hold ends of straps between thumb and forefinger and pull toward you until channel rests flush behind wall. Slide plastic cap along straps with other hand until flange of cap is flush with wall. C) Snap straps at wall by pushing side to side, snapping off straps level with flange of cap. D) Place item over flange. Insert bolt and tighten until snug against item, then stop. Use any like-threaded bolt (match thread in metal channel). Bolt length = fixture thickness + wall or ceiling thickness + 1/2" (13mm). Minimum clearance behind wall = 1-7/8" (48mm) TOGGLER® brand SNAPTOGGLE® bolts will not damage or break through walls, even under vibration. You can use a shorter bolt for every application, because you do not have to carry a wing through the wall. TOGGLER® brand SNAPTOGGLE® bolts require a smaller hole (1/2") than other toggle bolts and also hold more weight.
